Ein neues Hörbuch ist erschienen!

Im Highland-Hexen-Krimi mit Violet Grave in der Hauptrolle geht es um einen viktorianischen Cold Case in Tarbet.

Ein alter Friedhof in Schottland. Eine mysteriöse Grabplatte. Und ein viktorianischer Cold Case.

Wenn Grabsteine reden könnten, dann würden sie Violet Grave ihre Geschichten zuflüstern.

Gräber sind Violets Berufung.

Die Friedhofskünstlerin wird bei ihrer nächtlichen Arbeit auf dem Ballyhennan Cemetery in Tarbet von der Einheimischen Fionna unterbrochen.

Fionna gehört dem örtlichen Heimatverein an, der Violet prompt Steine ganz anderer Art in den Weg legt: Ein altes Grab mit keltischen Symbolen aus dem 16. Jahrhundert darf sie nicht weiter untersuchen.

Dafür hilft ihr der mysteriöse Verein bei den Ermittlungen in einem Todesfall, der sich einst im viktorianischen Tarbet ereignete. Hat die Frau des Inhabers vom illustren Tarbet Hotel tatsächlich ihre Kinder und dann sich selbst umgebracht? Oder war sie Opfer schwarzer Magie geworden? Die Vorfahrin der Kräuterfrau Penny Reid scheint die Finger im Spiel gehabt zu haben.

Vergangenheit und Gegenwart verflechten sich immer mehr miteinander, als Violet den Cold Case aufklärt. Kann ein mehr als hundert Jahre zurückliegender Mord auch Violet zur Gefahr werden?

Das Jahr startete so schön für mich mit dem @diehoeragenten Podcast Sprecherbox (aktuell Autorenbox, da Autoren zu Wort kommen).
Ich hatte ganz viel Spaß dabei, von Markus Dreesen interviewed zu werden - und ich glaube, das merkt man auch ☺️

Ich mache immer eine längere Pause zwischen den Jahren (die Rauhnächte) und brauche dann gewöhnlich ein bisschen, bis die Inbox wieder leer ist, Admin-Aufgaben nachgeholt sind und ich wieder richtig loslegen kann.
Heute ging es dann weiter mit dem englischen Manuskript der Ghost Photographer Serie, das ich von meiner Lektorin zurückbekommen habe.
